COOPERATION BETWEEN ST. PETERSBURG AND FOREIGN REGIONS AND CITIES

Cooperation with foreign cities and regions plays an important role in the external relations of St.Petersburg. They began back in 1953, when relations with the Finnish city of Turku were established. Presently, 90 foreign cities and 27 foreign regions have bilateral agreements on cooperation with St.Petersburg.
